Grant's Farm and others

Over the past few months we have been busy! School started for me and going really well. My class this year is pretty great and I finally feel like I'm doing a good job teaching my kiddos.

David continues to work from home and raise our little angel. He also got a job working at Scott Trade Center (so he can get out of the house a little).

Noelle is growing and growing. She no longer likes to be fed from a spoon. She wants to do it all by herself, which inevitably means a mess! She is pulling up like a champ and loves walking around holding on to anything she can reach. At her 9 month check up she weighed 23lbs and was 28 3/4 in. long. That puts her in the 90%, but at least she is proportional.

Below are some pictures from our visit to Grant's Farm. It was fun and hot, but we will definitely have to go again when Noelle is older.

We are beginning the works on Noelle's 1st birthday party and we will let everyone know more details later! I can't believe it is only 2 months away.

Happy 10 month birthday baby girl!

The summer is gone. :(

It has been WAY too long since I posted last, but this summer has been crazy busy. The three of us loved spending whole days together sometimes barely sitting down and others doing absolutely nothing. Oh, the perks of being a teacher! I love it.

This summer we went to Texas with Grandma Weiler and Uncle Layton, we went to the pool with some of mommy's friends from work, and spent some time with Jodi. We did lots of other things too (my mind is just not working right now).

Anyway, Noelle is growing and growing fast. Last time I posted she was just learning to sit up on her own. These days that is child's play. She is now crawling (mostly an army crawl still), pulling up on everything, chasing the dog, and so much more.

Just the other day she started clicking her tongue and clapping her hands. She is learning so much everyday. I hated going back to school, afraid I would miss something, but daddy does a great job of recording it for me! Thanks babe.

Below are just a collecting of pictures from the summer in no particular order. Enjoy!

With Daddy in Paris, Texas

This is the only picture that we have of Noelle (7 months) where she actually looks like me, but I love it!

Daddy--fishin'

Daddy and Noelle playing at the Discovery Green Park in Downtown Houston, Tx.

Baby's first time in the ocean! The Gulf of Mexico, near the Kemah Boardwalk.

Noelle got her ears pierced! She only cried for a minute and aren't they sooooo cute!!

We went to quite a few Gateway Grizzlies' games this summer with Jodi and Andre. We had fun!

She fell asleep in her high chair...I guess I was taking too long. :)

She pulled up to the coffee table. This is the first time I saw her do it and yes...I cried. She is getting so big.

Well, that's it for now. Hopefully it won't be so long before I get back.

sitting up!!!

oops. She fell over. :)

A little note we wrote to Granny and Papa Weiler (Noelle's great grandparents). Hope they enjoy their little package!

After much work Noelle now can sit up by herself for an undetermined amount of time. She often will reach for something and fall over (usually a hard fall), and then be upset and look at David or I like we did something wrong. :)

6 months old!

And again at 6 months!

Look at the difference in our baby girl.
Here she is at one month.

We took Noelle to the doctor on Monday for her 6 month checkup.
Here are her stats:
18 lbs 5 oz (90%)
26 1/2 in (75%)
her head is in the (90%)

Let's just say she is getting big!

I have also been making more foods for her (we stopped solids for a while because she didn't seem interested). She has been eating like a champ and still loves carrots and sweet potatoes. She tried peaches today for the first time but didn't like those very much. Tomorrow we are going to try some pears! Hopefully she will like them. :)

Daddy picked out a sippy cup for her to have some water and she is a huge fan. More a fan of swinging the cup than actually drinking though. Thanks dad!

Carrots!

I made my first batch of baby food for Noelle the other day. Carrots. It was way easier than I thought it would be and it tasted DELICIOUS (which is obviously the most important part). I am very proud of myself knowing my baby girl is eating something mommy made just for her. :)

a big girl now..

After a much needed cleaning and a replacing a missing screw Noelle's crib is now able to be used. She had fully outgrown her bassinet!

It's about time mom and dad!

She loves all the space she has in that big bed to roll over and turn around and stick her legs out the bars...
Mommy almost cried when she slept in that big bed for the first time. :(

5 months!

Noelle is 5 months old!

She loves listening to music, dancing with daddy, sucking her thumb or thumbs, bouncing, eating carrots (they are her fav...so far) and almost sleeping through the night. Her smile and laugh are the greatest! I'm pretty sure she is the cutest baby ever!

oh and yesterday was my first mother's day. I love being a mom. It is a lot of work but more rewarding than I could have ever imagined. I love you baby girl. I can't wait for the many more mother's days to come.

Noelle is now almost 5 months old and we have begun trying some solid foods. first we started with some rice cereal, which she doesn't really care for all that much but we soon added some sweet potatoes which she LOVES and tonight we are going to have some bananas! Hopefully she likes them, because her momma sure does!

April -- four months old

sleepy girl

Baby's First Easter

all clean!

At Noelle's four month check-up she was 14 lbs 8 oz and 24 1/2 inches long.
She got more shots...but was such a big girl she only cried for a few minutes unlike last time where she cried all night :(
yay! for being in the 50 percentile

Noelle love sucking her thumb, rolling over from her stomach to her back and her newest trick is rolling from her back to her stomach. She is growing up way too fast! She loves staying at home with her daddy all day because he sings and dances with her and always makes her smile! yay daddy. Her feet finally touch the floor when she sits in her bouncy seat so she loves it more and more. The world is just brand new.
