way too long...

Well friends it has been nearly a year since I posted last which is totally inexcusable. So for the next few posts I will be getting caught back up with pictures and such. It may take me a while so I apologize....

Fall 2010 Trip to Eckert's Farm!

We had so much fun at Eckert's Farm! We saw the pig races and pumpkins being shot through the air by a cannon! Grandma Weiler came out to enjoy the day with us as well as our friend from church Heather. We had a great time on the farm.

Halloween 2010

Our very own lion.

Noelle loves her Aunt Jodi :)

For Noelle's first Halloween we dressed her up and went to the Alton Halloween Parade with Jodi, Andre and all of Andre's family. We also tried to pass out candy at our house, but only one person came..so Mommy and Daddy had a lot of candy left over!

Thanksgiving 2010

While at Grandma and Grandpa Weiler's house for Thanksgiving Noelle took her first steps. We were so excited to see her be so independent. She decided that she didn't really want that bad because she didn't really start walking a lot until about a week later.

For our family Christmas card we went to Jodi's house...Thanks Jodi! It took us quite a while to get a good picture, between Noelle and David playing and making silly faces but as always we had fun.

Next post will be Noelle's First Birthday!!! I know you can't wait!

Grant's Farm and others

Over the past few months we have been busy! School started for me and going really well. My class this year is pretty great and I finally feel like I'm doing a good job teaching my kiddos.

David continues to work from home and raise our little angel. He also got a job working at Scott Trade Center (so he can get out of the house a little).

Noelle is growing and growing. She no longer likes to be fed from a spoon. She wants to do it all by herself, which inevitably means a mess! She is pulling up like a champ and loves walking around holding on to anything she can reach. At her 9 month check up she weighed 23lbs and was 28 3/4 in. long. That puts her in the 90%, but at least she is proportional.

Below are some pictures from our visit to Grant's Farm. It was fun and hot, but we will definitely have to go again when Noelle is older.

We are beginning the works on Noelle's 1st birthday party and we will let everyone know more details later! I can't believe it is only 2 months away.

Happy 10 month birthday baby girl!

I want this new cloth diaper by BumGenius! Isn't it soooo pretty and I do believe it would look absolutely wonderful on Noelle's beautiful skin!! If you like them you should check them out on the Cotton Babies website... www.cottonbabies.com

The summer is gone. :(

It has been WAY too long since I posted last, but this summer has been crazy busy. The three of us loved spending whole days together sometimes barely sitting down and others doing absolutely nothing. Oh, the perks of being a teacher! I love it.

This summer we went to Texas with Grandma Weiler and Uncle Layton, we went to the pool with some of mommy's friends from work, and spent some time with Jodi. We did lots of other things too (my mind is just not working right now).

Anyway, Noelle is growing and growing fast. Last time I posted she was just learning to sit up on her own. These days that is child's play. She is now crawling (mostly an army crawl still), pulling up on everything, chasing the dog, and so much more.

Just the other day she started clicking her tongue and clapping her hands. She is learning so much everyday. I hated going back to school, afraid I would miss something, but daddy does a great job of recording it for me! Thanks babe.

Below are just a collecting of pictures from the summer in no particular order. Enjoy!

With Daddy in Paris, Texas

This is the only picture that we have of Noelle (7 months) where she actually looks like me, but I love it!

Daddy--fishin'

Daddy and Noelle playing at the Discovery Green Park in Downtown Houston, Tx.

Baby's first time in the ocean! The Gulf of Mexico, near the Kemah Boardwalk.

Noelle got her ears pierced! She only cried for a minute and aren't they sooooo cute!!

We went to quite a few Gateway Grizzlies' games this summer with Jodi and Andre. We had fun!

She fell asleep in her high chair...I guess I was taking too long. :)

She pulled up to the coffee table. This is the first time I saw her do it and yes...I cried. She is getting so big.

Well, that's it for now. Hopefully it won't be so long before I get back.

sitting up!!!

oops. She fell over. :)

A little note we wrote to Granny and Papa Weiler (Noelle's great grandparents). Hope they enjoy their little package!

After much work Noelle now can sit up by herself for an undetermined amount of time. She often will reach for something and fall over (usually a hard fall), and then be upset and look at David or I like we did something wrong. :)
